UPMC Motion To Dismiss City Of Pittsburgh Challenge To Property Tax Exemption

The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) is fighting an effort by the City of Pittsburgh to force UPMC to pay a per-employee fee in lieu of a property tax assessment. The city filed its lawsuit in March 2013; in this document, UPMC challenges the city’s authority to impose the tax.
