Medicaid Program; State Disproportionate Share Hospital Allotment Reductions

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services released a proposed rule that requires reductions to overall state Medicaid disproportionate share hospital (DSH) allotments annually from 2014 through 2020. The rule also proposes to add extra DSH reporting requirements for use in implementing the DSH health reform methodology.
