AHA Letter Regarding Impact Of DSH Cuts On Behavioral Health Systems

The American Hospital Association's (AHA) letter states that the AHA supports delaying the disproportionate share hospital reductions for two years, in order to allow for Medicaid coverage expansions to be more fully realized and better data to become available. The letter also contains a January 2012 AHA report projecting behavioral health care needs under the Medicaid coverage expansions in 2014.
