Border Area, et al., v. New Mexico Human Services Department

The District Court of New Mexico Case 1:13-cv-00613, Border Area Mental Health Services, Inc., et al., v. Sidonie Squier, Secretary of the New Mexico Human Services Department, (HSD) seeks to force HSD to continue Medicaid reimbursements to behavioral health organizations while allegations of Medicaid fraud are investigated. On the basis of an audit of 15 behavioral health provider organizations, HSD has suspended each plaintiff’s Medicaid payments until a pending investigation is completed.
