The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported raw private health insurance coverage trends by age group and other demographics. The data span 1984 through 2011. The age group data includes a subset for young adults age 19 to 25 who as of September 2010 as part of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act could be covered as dependents on a parent's health plan for any reason.
