Wisconsin BadgerCare Plus Demonstration Project Waiver Application Submitted To CMS August 9, 2013

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) submitted the application to the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services for a new five- year Section 1115 BadgerCare Plus Demonstration Project Waiver. If approved, the waiver will go into effect January 1, 2014, providing Medicaid coverage via an alternative benefit plan to adults between the ages of 19-64 years old without dependent children, whose family income does not exceed 100% of the federal poverty line.
