Michigan Mental Health Courts 2012 Annual Report & Evaluation Summary

The Michigan Supreme Court reported three-year outcomes at the state’s 16 pilot mental health courts. The outcomes indicate that the 12-month recidivism rate among the more than 300 mental health court participants is about 5%, compared to 19% for non- participants with mental illness.
