New York City Administration For Children’s Services Child Welfare Performance Statistics For October 2013

The New York City Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) is expanding its new approach to foster care called ChildSuccessNYC citywide, and later statewide as part of a newly approved Title IV-E waiver demonstration project. On October 17, 2013, the New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) and ACS announced the waiver approval for a statewide demonstration. The project will begin in New York City, and OCFS may expand it to other counties and jurisdictions. OCFS and ACS anticipate implementing the waiver on January 1, 2014 in a two-phase process.
