January 15, 2009 This chart pack illustrates the findings of a poll conducted to assess public attitudes about health care reform and about economic priorities for the incoming Obama Administration. From December 4 to 14, 2008, researchers from the Kaiser Family Foundation and the Harvard School of Public Health interviewed a randomly selected sample of 1,628 adults. Health-related topics included the level of support for increased funding for veterans medical care, SCHIP, medical research, Medicare, Medicaid, bioterrorism, public health, stem cell research, evidence-based medicine, global health issues, health information technology, health information technology, health insurance, public attitudes . . .
