Texas Youth Commission Legislative Appropriations Request for Fiscal Years 2010 & 2011

August 13, 2008 The Texas Youth Commission spent approximately $281.8 million in 2008; this most recent budget proposal requests $249.1 million for 2010 and $253.8 million for 2011. The agency is working with elected officials to ensure that it will remain able to deliver effective treatment to the youth in its care.
