Grading the States 2009
March 11, 2009 The report is a comparative assessment of state mental health care systems conducted by the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). The information was provided by state mental health agencies in response to a NAMI survey in August 2008. Other data were drawn from academic research, health care associations, and federal agencies. In addition, NAMI conducted a nationwide on-line survey for consumers with mental illness or in recovery and family members.
