National Neurotechnology Initiative Act, House Resolution 5989
May 7, 2008 On May 7, 2008, the National Neurotechnology Initiative Act (NNTI) was introduced to the U.S. House and Senate to fund research and development for neuroscience technology devices to treat brain diseases. The bill seeks federal funding increases to further uses of current technology and spur research.
