Overview of Michigan Governor Granholm’s Fiscal Year 2008-2009 Budget
February 13, 2008 The Michigan Governors Budget for 2008-2009 includes $3.3 million in funding for pilot mental health courts $1.1 million is funded through the Judiciary budget and $2.25 million is funded through the Community Health budget. If the appropriation is retained for the fiscal year that begins October 1, 2008, the funding proposal will enable several pilot mental health courts to start across the state.
