July 7, 2008 The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) published proposed changes to the 2009 Medicare physician fee schedule, which includes a provision addressing the reimbursement of telehealth services. CMS proposes to establish three Healthcare Common Procedure System Coding codes for follow-up inpatient telehealth consultations.
