June 2008 This document filed with the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) describes proposals submitted by Ten Broeck-Tampa and Morton Plant to develop inpatient psychiatric services for Pasco County. Ten Broeck-Tampa proposed building a $15.7 million, 40-bed hospital with 35 adult psychiatric beds and five adult substance abuse beds. Morton Plant proposed a $17 million, 70-bed psychiatric facility for adults and children in the western part of Pasco. Morton Plant submitted three applications for certificates of need for the facility, one for 40 adult inpatient psychiatric beds, one for 20 adult inpatient substance . . .
