Changes to Oregon Reimbursements for Medicaid & SCHIP

July 29, 2008 On August 1, 2008, the Oregon Department of Human Services (DHS) began denying reimbursement for certain Medicaid and State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) claims submitted without evidence of a 40% local match payment. The affected services are: School-based health services Behavioral rehabilitative services Targeted case management services DHS reminded providers about the local match requirement in a memo dated July 29, 2008.
