Michigan Seeks Services for Homeless/Runaway Youth
August 25, 2008 The Michigan Department of Human Services is seeking statewide bids for three-year actual cost contracts from appropriately qualified vendors to strengthen and enhance services for the states homeless youth and runaway (HYR) under the age of 21. This RFP seeks to develop a more integrated system of services along a continuum of care. This continuum will include basic care centers that offer temporary shelter, transitional independent living programs for youth who cannot be reunited with their families and are in need of long-term support; and redesigned street outreach, prevention and crisis intervention.
