Delaware Health Status Report for Persons With Disabilities
June 2007 The report is part of the Healthy Delawareans with Disabilities 2010 Project. The researchers sought to review the health and well-being of the states population of people with disabilities and compare their status with that of the general population to assess health and well-being disparities. Between May and December 2006, the researchers surveyed 339 people living in both community and in institutional settings. The participants were selected from service enrollment lists, referrals, and community outreach organizations. The participants had a variety of physical, sensory, and cognitive disabilities.
