August 16, 2007 The Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare is seeking to create two regionally-based forensic facilities to be located at Norristown State Hospital in the eastern part of the state, and at Torrance State Hospital in the western part of the state. A mandatory pre-proposal conference is scheduled for September 20, 2007.
