Virginia DMAS RFP 2008-07 for Community Mental Health and Other Behavioral Health Provider Auditing Services

September 18, 2008 The Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) released the request for proposals (RFP 2008-07) on September 18, 2008. Proposals were due November 6, 2008, but an amendment changed the due date to December 1, 2008. Duties of the contractor shall include performing audits of outpatient psychotherapy and substance abuse treatment, therapeutic day treatment, mental health support services, intensive in-home, and private intermediate care facilities for the mentally retarded (ICF-MR) offered by in-state and out-of-state providers that participate in the Virginia Medicaid program.
