Idaho Behavioral Health System Redesign: Findings & Recommendations for the Idaho State Legislature
August 2008 The Idaho Legislature funded the study by the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE) to examine the current state of mental health care in Idaho. The report assessed Idaho's mental health treatment capacity, cost, eligibility standards and its areas of responsibility in dealing with health care issues. WICHE recommended that the state redesign its behavioral health delivery system into regions similar to the existing public health system.
