July 2007 In July 2007, a report by the National Council on Disability was submitted to current President Bush entitled "Implementation of the Americans with Disabilities Act: Challenges, Best Practices, and New Opportunities for Success." The report was a collection of experiences and ideas of those in business, the judicial system, government, and of those with disabilities concerning the implementation of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The report dealt with several key ADA implementation issues, including: employment; public and private transportation; public accommodations; and telecommunications.
