September 26, 2007 On September 26, 2007, the Acting Executive Director for the Texas Youth Commission authorized an unannounced audit of the Coke County Juvenile Justice Center in Bronte, Texas. The facility provided supervision and rehabilitative services to delinquent youth. The decision to conduct the audit was prompted by youth grievance data, collection of data/information from Youth Rights Investigators/Specialists and information reported by the Deputy Director of Juvenile Corrections subsequent to a site visit of the facility.
