June 2007 To aid policy discussions on the secondary use of consumer data, on October 3, 2007, the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA) submitted several documents relating to secondary uses of consumer health data to the American Health Information Community, Office of the National Coordinator, and the National Committee on Vital and Health Statistics.
