Access to Education in Pennsylvania Partial Hospitalization Programs
December 2007 This document, prepared jointly by the Pennsylvania Departments of Education and Public Welfare addressed the issue of proper educational instruction for those children in partial hospitalization programs. They found that, on average, children receive less than 3 hours of educational instruction per day. They recommended placing the affected children in regular classroom settings as much as is possible and increasing the schools in interagency treatment programs . . .
