York County Human Services Needs Assessment

December 21, 2007 The researchers sought to review the York County, Pennsylvania, Department of Human Services (YCHS) current human services delivery system and make recommendations. The goal was to assess current performance of human service programs in meeting residents needs; identify gaps and unmet service needs; project future needs; and make recommendations. The research was done by Public Consulting Group which conducted interviews with YCHS administrators; held focus groups with multiple sub-populations of all levels of the human services delivery system; and during September 2007, conducted informational web-based surveys with consumers, providers, advisory groups, advocacy groups, and YCHS . . .
