North Carolina Foster Care Reimbursement System Changes

September 15, 2008 On January 1, 2009, all private foster care agencies will receive standardized per child-per month rates from the North Carolina Division of Social Services of $1,433 for a child from birth to age five; $1,564 for a child six to 12 years old and $1,638 for a child aged 13-18. The new rates include both the foster care maintenance rate and an administration rate.
