Screening For Mental Illness in Nursing Facility Applicants: Understanding Federal RequirementsMedicaid law and regulations require States to have a Preadmission Screening and Resident Review (PASRR) program to determine whether nursing facility applicants and residents require nursing facility services and specialized mental health care.
