Kaiser Foundation and Hewitt Associates, is designed to capture information on retiree health programs offered by large private-sector employers. The study focuses on large employers because these firms are far more likely than mid- and small-sized firms to offer retiree health benefits, and are therefore the best focus for a survey that examines the scope of private-sector retiree health coverage.
