December 29, 2006 Ohio SB 116 The bill, (SB 116) which was signed into law on December 29, 2006, prohibits insurance companies offering policies in the state of Ohio from providing unequal coverage for diagnosis, care and treatment of mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, paranoia and other psychotic disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and panic disorder.
