December 14, 2006 Texas Health Care Claims Study Special Report on Foster Children The Texas Comptroller reviewed Medicaid claims submitted for foster children in 2004 as part of a fraud audit. The comptroller referred areas of potential fraud and abuse to the Texas Office of Inspector General for further review.
