January 2007 Increasing Collaboration Between Corrections & Mental Health Organizations: Kansas Case Study The Kansas Corrections and Mental Health Diversion Program called Community Offender Resources (COR)-Pathways had less impact than expected in helping offenders with serious and persistent mental illnesses (SPMI) transition back to the community. The parole revocation rate (74%) for individuals in the COR-Pathways group was higher than the control group, (51%) who only received specialized parole officer (PO) services.
