June 2006 ODADAS Strategic Plan Update 2006-2007 The Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services (i.e., ODADAS or the Department) serves Ohio citizens with a comprehensive approach to alcohol and other drug addiction prevention, treatment and recovery support services. Development of this Strategic Plan Update was necessary due to many changes at the federal, state and local levels. Because current AOD system needs and priorities were not reflected in ODADAS five-year plan first drafted in 2003, ODADAS developed this Strategic Plan Update which aligns federal, state, Department and local priorities . . .
