December 2005 State Standards and Capacity to Track Frequency of Caseworker Visits with Children in Foster Care This report found that States' ability to track and document foster care visitations improved with the implementation and use of an automated visitation tracking system such as SACWIS. The OIG recommended that States with limited or nonexistent automated capacity to record frequency of caseworker visits should promote development of automated systems such as SACWIS.
