Sixth Accountable Care Organization Launched In North Texas By Cigna

Cigna launched its sixth accountable care organization (ACO) in North Texas as part of Cigna Collaborative Care. The North Texas Clinically Integrated Network (NTCIN) ACO, a nonprofit conglomeration of primary care and specialty providers throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Area, went into effect on January 1, 2015. NTCIN physicians will monitor the patients’ medical care and registered nurses will coordinate care and help monitor chronic conditions.
