ICON Acquires MediMedia Pharma Solutions
Ireland-based ICON, a global provider of outsourced development services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries, acquired MediMedia Pharma Solutions, which is a division of MediMedia USA. The acquisition was for a cash consideration of $120 million. MediMedia Pharma Solutions is a combination of MediMedia Managed Markets and Complete Healthcare Communications. MediMedia Managed Markets is a leading provider of strategic payer-validated market access solutions.
