2015 Missouri Department Of Insurance Report On Coverage For Autism Treatment & Applied Behavior Analysis

The report was released by the Missouri Department of Insurance on February 1, 2015. In 2011 the state enacted an autism insurance mandate requiring all state-regulated group and individual health plans to cover diagnosis and treatment of autism, including coverage of applied behavior analysis for children under age 18. The legislation requires the Department of Insurance to issue an annual report on the number of people served and the cost of claims.
