U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases announces the availability of funding for implementation of the Functions of Skeletal Muscle Beyond Contraction (R01) Grant. The purpose of this grant is to support innovative projects aimed at studying the spectrum of activities of skeletal muscle in health and disease that are beyond its role in contraction and locomotion.
