U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, National Institutes of Health, National Institute on Drug Abuse announces the availability of funding for a contractor to provide preclinical evaluation services of test compounds as potential pharmacotherapies for substance abuse. The contractor will conduct experiments evaluating compounds in the mouse locomotor activity, rat drug discrimination, rat conditioned place preference, mouse stress-induced potentiation of conditioned place preference, and rat self-administration paradigms. The offeror and technical staff also need to have experience conducting these types of experiments using cocaine, methamphetamine, nicotine, THC, and hallucinogens . . .
