Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act; Notice of Proposed Rulemaking

On April 16, 2015, the federal departments of Labor (DOL) and Education (ED) released five proposed rules to implement the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) to update federal workforce programs and improve access to education and workforce services for individuals with significant barriers to employment, including individuals with disabilities, veterans, disconnected youth, and other vulnerable populations.
