CEO Change At Tucson-based Providence Service

Providence Service Corporation Chief Executive Officer Warren Rustand will step down June 1 and be replaced on an interim basis by the company’s chairman, Chris Shackleton. Rustand, formerly CEO of Rural/Metro Corporation, became CEO of Providence in May 2013, following a stint as interim CEO after founding CEO Fletcher McCusker left the company in late 2012. Providence will conduct a search for a new CEO expected to be completed over the next few months. Rustand has agreed to remain with Providence as a senior advisor for the remainder of 2015.
