Louisiana Legislative Audit Of Department of Health and Hospitals – Utilization, Cost, and Quality of Care in Medicaid Home and Community-Based Services

The Louisiana Legislative Auditor released the report on April 29, 2015. The report is the third in a series of performance audits intended to establish a baseline of information from the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals (DHH) as Louisiana shifts to a Medicaid managed care system for long-term care services. The two previous reports looked at nursing homes and intermediate care facilities for the developmentally disabled.
