Nebraska DHHS, CFS, Request for Qualifications to Provide Service Coordination & Non-Treatment Continuum of Care Services.

The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Division of Children and Family Services (CFS) released the request for qualifications as part of a plan to transform the state's child welfare system. Responses were due January 15, 2009. CFS sought organizations to serve as child welfare lead agencies. CFS is implementing a performance-based approach to contracting for services, including non-treatment care, and requiring lead agencies responsible for care to also provide limited coordination of services for CFS clients.
