Florida’s WellCare Names McNichols As New President

Circle Connections: New Talent WellCare Health Plans Inc. named David McNichols as state president of WellCare of Florida Inc. He succeeds Christina Cooper, who resigned earlier this month to relocate with her family. Starting April 1st, McNichols will have responsibility for WellCare’s Medicaid and Medicare Advantage businesses in Florida and will lead statewide expansion initiatives, a statement from the company said.
