Another Former Cerner Executive Finds Home At Netsmart

Circle Connections: New Talent Netsmart Technologies Inc. has named another former Cerner Corp. employee to its executive team. Overland Park-based Netsmart announced that Dr. Ian Chuang would move into the role of chief medical officer. Chuang, a former vice president at Cerner, also will be senior vice president of health care informatics at Netsmart, a behavioral health care software provider. Chuang joins CEO Mike Valentine in a growing number of Netsmart employees who hail from Cerner, a North Kansas City-based health care technology company. Valentine is Cerner's former COO.
