New Talent The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), has appointed Mr. Dennis O. Romero to serve as the first regional administrator of SAMHSA in Region II, which includes New York, New Jersey, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. As regional administrator, Mr. Romero will facilitate collaboration among SAMHSA and other offices and divisions of the federal Department of Health and Human Services.
