Iowa’s Branstad Considering Revamp Of Mental-Health Facilities
Circle Connections: New Talent Governor Terry Branstad says Iowa has a system of "ancient" mental-health institutions that should be redesigned to deliver services more efficiently and effectively. The governor said Monday he would like to have someone with "outside expertise" review the facilities at Cherokee, Clarinda, Independence, and Mount Pleasant.
