Circle Connections: Policy & Regulatory Updates Lancaster County Board gave a unanimous nod Tuesday to privatization plans for the Community Mental Health Center. The two-year effort to privatize the county service is coming to a close, as three local providers likely will take over the operation starting July 1. On Monday, the Region V Systems governing board likely will vote to finalize the plan. Region V Systems oversees publicly funded behavioral health services for 16 counties in Southeast Nebraska, contracting for services and dispensing state and federal funds.
