Circle Connections: Policy & Regulatory Updates The Human Services Department has decided to extend for six months a contract with OptumHealth New Mexico to oversee non-Medicaid behavioral health spending. The decision was met with grumbling from lawmakers who have questioned Optum's performance in light of the upheaval in the behavioral health system.Optum's five-year contract expires Dec. 31.
