Illinois Hospitals Plan $10 Million Regional Mental Health Center
Circle Connections: Mergers & Acquisitions Two metro-east hospitals have come together to propose a new $10 million inpatient regional mental health center in Centreville. St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Belleville, Touchette Regional Hospital in Centreville and Southern Illinois Hospital Foundation announced plans to combine their services and create a new 30-bed behavioral health services center at the Centreville hospital. The new center could open within two-and-a-half-years of the start of construction. The project is pending state approval.
